Yes, read it now!

Sara, who writes at BWS tips button , is one of the most amazing writers I have ever read (btw, I think she is also a songwriter and I'm sure I would love to hear her music someday!).

PLEASE skip over to her blog today and read "When Love Cries Out."

One small morsel that I will be adding to my favorite quotes list:

"Our God is not a passive lover
and the love He calls forth from us cannot be passive
if it is going to trump fear."

Choosing to say "YES!" to what Sara calls the "awkward, unnatural love" of adoption is what changed our lives completely. . . wrecked our lives (for good), trumped our fears, and has taught us more about the Father's love, grace, and our complete need to depend on Him and abide in Him in all things.

Adoption Lessons: To Sum it Up:

“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket- safe, dark, motionless, airless--it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable.”

---C.S. Lewis

"If you want to be great in God's kingdom,

learn to be the servant of all."

--Jesus
